WP 2.5.1 with Twitme 1.6.5

  1. Hello!
    I already installed twitme 1.6.5 in wordpress 2.5.1 but when i active the plugin and try to access Twitme settings, the browser just keep loading ... and not show the settings of Twitme.
    I don't know what could be happen ?
    There is something wrong ?
    my info is:
    PHP Version 5.2.5
    LIBCURL Version libcurl/7.15.1 OpenSSL/0.9.8a zlib/1.2.3 libidn/0.6.0

    May i ask whinch browser you use and the version of it ? Its known that there are some issues with IE 7 + vista and with IE6 on XP.

  6. Nop, I tried version 1.5.2 but doesn't work, i was thinking if could be affect the permissions of the plugin, i mean i have the permissions of twitme with other user, not with www user.
    How the conexion of twitme works, the plugin have to connect to twitter right?, i think the server has the network configuration ok, but i don't know what other things could affect it ...

    Yes it connects to Twitter on port 80 (http) and it requests the user data from that server. But im going to fix a load of bugs rights now with Twitme.

  10. i already upgrade to wordpress 2.7 and Twitme 1.6.7 but still not working, i can access to twitme settings but when i tried to access twitme section the page is just loading and all the time keep this status, not show me anything :(

  11. ok maybe it could be a compatibility problem with other plugins, here is a list of the plugins that i use ...

    So this leaves us with the following unknown plugins .. to know for sure if they work with Twitme.

  13. Hi !
    I already figured out what happen with my installation of wordpress, the issue is in the network configuration, my blog is back to firewall and this firewall is blocking all outgoing connections so, the twitme can't communication to twitter.
    Do you know what ports wordpress use to communicate with twitter and other stuff in the dashboard like wordpress plugins, i mean is just the 80 port or i have to open other ports ?
