I have just installed twitme from wordpress.org's page and set everything up. I've tested the twitme addon on my site and it's logged in fine, when I tell it to send my posts across nothing happens. I can't get the box where you can send a comment manually to work either.

UnregisteredGot also your latest one. On 2 blogs. 1 is working perfectly - otherone is not making a twitter post automatically. It will put it in the list to send. Johnny; I was correcting an existing post (also already sent via Twitme)- hit the Update Post button = and got the following message;

At the moment I turned you TwitMe off - I didn't have this problem. I have been looking into my Theme; but I have 2 different sites; sjeltur.nl and onmycomp.com = with same theme.... = as you can see it is doing this on the onmycomp.com, but NOT on the sjeltur.nl

. Uhm Yes this is a known issue but this week i will release version 1.6.6 maybe even on christmass tomorrow with a list of bug fixes including this one. Here is the list of fixes that i will make - Possible broken links in sending to Twitter (This could be cause by wordpress 2.7 as well … researching).
- Sometimes Twitmode only loads and nothing shows up.
- Reports of loads of autosents where reported
- The twit-map doesnt work correctly
- Follow_location in timesurl class
- Sometimes posts are sent at updating posts on Twitter

UnregisteredI did check it out; but it does not seem to be working on my page..... (sjeltur.nl) = my theme makes me choose between the front page or the post page; I selected post page (as that is where people get in from Google). But nothing is showing up....

Probably you are going to hate me..... but I still have a little problem....
I had the problem on "onmycomp.com"; posting to twitter was not going automatically. With the update; that one is fixed. BUT; it will not post it as I told it to do.This is the line I put in in Twitme:
New Blog Post on OnMyComp.com -> "%POSTTITLE%" pls click %POSTURL%And this was the Twitterpost:
Sjeltur New Blog post FileZilla Client; uploading to external server http://tinyurl.com/8dykmx ... "On my other site; sjeltur.nl it is working perfectly.
I will try to change the Twitme line - save it = and see what happens tomorrow morning (= I have scheduled posts)

UnregisteredThanks about my company. Ontopic only shows up when a reader comes in from a search engine and gives posts related to the search topic. Do you think it should always list a releated post box on the right ?..

This happens because your message is longer then 140 chars so Twitme automaticaly changes from Template modes (which you use the template message for) to summary modes. This is to make sure the message doent look realy wierd on Twitter and halfway broken. Look at the Twitme settings page its explained therePosted 1 year ago # -

Ontopic; Mmmh but does it show up on the right when you get in via Google..?? Because with me; it does not.... although I do have the widget running....
Twitme; oooh didnt realize it was a post of that size...
Did a scheduled post; works perfect now !!

UnregisteredI am using WordPress 2.7 and version 1.6.7 of Twitme and, all of a sudden, the plugin stopped working. It is activated and I can access Twitme's Settings via the Admin Sidebar (all settings are correct and I am able to test my login successfully) but when I try to access the Twitme link it brings me to a blank page -- not the usual page that includes my Twits, followers, etc.
Also, Twitme no longer automatically posts my posts to Twitter. I love the plugin and have come to rely on it. Any suggestions as to what to do reset it to get it to work again? Or could this be a conflict with another plugin?

UnregisteredHey Johnny! Yes, I can register. The settings screen works for me. It's just the "Twitme" page (../../wp-admin/admin.php?page=twitme/twitMenus.php) that shows no content except for the WP admin sidebar.
Also, I did indeed upgrade from an earlier version (I think it was 1.6.5) and deactivated, upgraded and re-activated the plugin.

UnregisteredI'm running into some similar problems. I did not upgrade from a previous version, just straight to 1.6.7.
What's happening is that i first had to manually enter my username and password for twitter into the "Edit plugin" for twitme, as neither the test, nor the save setting buttons would work from the setup page.
After manually entering those, my twitme page will get my contact, but doesn't auto post my new blogs to twitter, and keeps a constant "loading please wait" on the timeline tab. I've let it sit for a couple hours and nothing.
Any idea what may be wrong? Thanks.
