Twitme 1.7 Sneak preview 1: This post is part of a series where i showcase some new functions added in the new Twitme release to come. Altho i have promiced that Twitme 1.7 would be packed with new features i need to excuse my self because of the following. Twitme 1.7 will be an total recode of the Twitme 1.6.x core with all buggy features fixed and where needed updated.

Here is a small summary of the bugs that will be fixed in Twitme 1.7:

• Time reporting was fixed (This is broken on some installations)
• Send all Que is updated (You can now select winch post you want to send)
• Scheduled posts bugs are fixed.

This list only contains some updates but the great thing is that Twitme now is a core only plugin. What will this say ? well everything inside Twitme is a plugin and can be enabled or disabled. This gives developers the chance to exclude the graphical user interface that was in Twitme 1.6.x (Still is in 1.7) and replace it for thair own layout. Also it givers support for new features like Twitpic and buddypress support.

Before releasing the big 1.7 release that will make Twitme as stable as a rock we like to annouce we are also working on Twitme for the Iphone. Yes ! its happening we stepped of wordpress and off of php and joined the C world. We have created a copy of Twitme that you can run on your ipod touch or your iphone it doesnt mather as long as you have a connection to the internet from your device (ipod or iphone)
