Today was the day that me and my development team (and probably many more development and design teams world wide) where throwing a party to celebrate that Adobe has launched “Creative Suite 4″ for pre-ordering. This would mean within even this year we will have a whole lot of new toys to play with.

For long it was not sure when Adobe would step forward with there CS4 products but we bless them for doing so before the year is over. The downside on the other hand is that Creative Suite 4 is pre-order only for now, so you will be put in to a cue and they will notify you and ship your package on the official release date.  At the office here we all think that will be around October but more realistic would be for Abobe to start shipping CS4 products as from the 16th of November. 

Adobe MAX will be helt between the 16th and the 19th of November in San Francisco, California. If they are smart they will start shipping CS4 as from the start of the Adobe MAX 2008/2009 event because then it will truly be Adobe`s day. Not only in America but all across the world web developers and designers will be blogging about this release.

On may 27th of this year Adobe already surprised us with tree beta releases. The beta`s then released where Dreamweaver CS4, Fireworks CS4 and Soundbooth CS4.  These releases where embraced by the developing comunity with greate love. But Adobe also released Flash player 10 which was codenamed Astro in early alpha stages but now there has been 2 beta releases and even a release candidate came and saw the light.

The hearts of many developers started pounding faster because a release candidate for flash player 10 could only mean 1 thing,  The CS4 series would be released soon 

And we where right.. CS4 is on the horizon
